• 01.03.08 - NMGI Adds New Employees to Team
  
  In the last half of 2007 four new associates have joined the team at Network Management Group, Inc.
  
  Joining the NMGI Support Team are Kathleen Southards and Sean Williams. Kathleen joined the NetCare professional services team as a Business Continuity Specialist. Sean joined NMGI as the Sr. Engineering and Security Manager.
  
  Jared Johnson and Peter Samuelson have also joined the NMGI team. Jared is a Linux Support Technician and assists the DoubleCheck team in product enhancement and support. Peter has joined the DoubleCheck team as a Software Developer.
  
  We are proud to add these associates to the NMGI team, as we continue to promote World Class service and support to our clients.

• 06.07.07 - NMGI Adds Five New Associates to Team
  
  Since the first of the year NMGI has added five new associates to the NMGI team. Adella Luna is the new Client Service Director for NMGI’s professional services division. NMGI also added additional professional service bandwidth with the addition of Ben Bower as a technical support engineer.
  
  Michael Yust has joined the DoubleCheck Team in the helpdesk and technical support divisions. Ian Taylor has been added to the NMGI Business Continuity team as a Managed Services Engineer. Tom Hammersmith effective 6/4/2007 accepted a joint marketing and sales position.
   
• 06.06.07 - NMGI held a free Business Technology Expo at the Grand Prairie Hotel and Convention Center in Hutchinson, KS.
  
  A major topic covered by multiple speakers at the event was Business Continuity. Mike Semel, a Certified Business Continuity Professional with XiloCore in Las Vegas held a Business Continuity Planning Session at the Expo.
  
  Keynote speaker Randy Johnston started the day with a Technology Product Trends discussion. Randy consults with CPA firms, banks and private businesses, as well as technology and accounting-industry vendors, concerning ways to improve their organizations and lives using technology. Randy is Executive Vice President of K2 Enterprises, an education firm providing technology seminars and conferences for CPAs. He is also a partner with Steve Harper, President of NMGI.
  
  NMGI team members, Ken McClelland, Doug Elliott and Ian Taylor also spoke at the Expo, along with representatives from Hewlett Packard, Alltel and Ingram Micro.

  NMGI's 2006-2007 bowling team members Gin Boice, Ken Boice, Dan Blevins, Cyn Stout and Ron Williams are "Thursday Night Mixers" league champions.  After a long season, they had a winning percentage of .699 and won by 15.5 games. [ Team Photo ]
   

• Special notice regarding the new Daylight Saving Time that went into affect on Sunday March 11th at 2am!
  
  In August of 2005, Congress passed the Energy Policy Act, which changes the dates of both the start and end of daylight saving time (DST). DST starts three weeks earlier this year – on the second Sunday in March instead of the first Sunday in April.

  Ken McClelland and Joel Cash have received the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) credential. The MCP designation recognizes technology professionals who have successfully implemented Microsoft products or technologies as part of a business solution. McClelland and Cash completed "Designing and Providing Microsoft Volume License Solutions to Small and Medium Organizations" to earn the certification.
